BIO
I was born in Clarksdale, MS, heart of the Delta Blues. I grew up on the Gulf Coast and still call it home today.   I have always been  inspired by pop culture and my greatest artistic influence growing up was Warhol.   I studied four years of Graphic Design, Printmaking and photography at the University of South Alabama .  There I learned all types of intaglio techniques under master printmaker, Sumi Putman and quickly fell in love making bold ,textural  monoprints .
It was  an exciting time when Macs were introduced to our art department. while still in the infancy of the apple revolution.
I  began experimenting with computer printmaking and interactive media before leaving school to start my commercial art career.
Since then , I have enjoyed great success in  combining my fine art with graphic design. I still love primitive quality of hand pulled prints and the satisfaction of creating a superior etching.
As an American printmaker, I will continue to  grow, explore  new mediums and  document the social, techno, economic, political and cultural trends happening all around me. But most of all , I intend to use  art to promote positive creative thinking.
